Directions to Inn to the Woods Bed and Breakfast on San Juan Island Washington

Most visitors to our Islands arrive onboard Washington State Ferries that depart from the town of Anacortes, eighty miles north of Seattle.

When your ferry docks at the Friday Harbor Ferry Terminal, travel west on Spring Street for two blocks until you reach Second Street and then turn right.

Follow along Second Street up a hill and past the San Juan County Court House to the first stop sign. On your right you will see the Community Theater and Arts Center. Continue straight through the stop sign on what is now Guard Street passing Friday Harbor High School on your left as you continue to the next stop sign.

Now, turn right onto Tucker Avenue and continue four miles along this road, which becomes Roche Harbor Road as you leave town. At about the three-mile road marker you’ll see San Juan Vineyards on your right and, soon, Sportsman Lake on your left.

You’re almost here!

Start looking for the four-mile road marker on your right just past Misty Isle Drive. Watch for our white Inn to the Woods sign right on Roche Harbor Road and again at the driveway to the Inn. Turn right onto Elena Drive and go up the hill to the first driveway. Our Inn is parallel to Roche Harbor Road so you can partially see the Inn through the trees.

There are also daily flights into the Friday Harbor Airport from Seattle if you prefer to fly and during the summer months the Victoria Clipper Ferry makes daily trips directly from Seattle to the San Juan Islands.
